She gathers clay, minerals and pigments from local deposits of Jemez Pueblo. She then uses traditional coiling method to create the vessels and fires them outside in traditional firings. Her pieces are true works of art. Marcella's work is represented by the Smithsonian Museum, Heard Museum and the U.S. Department of the Interior.
