Description: Postcard - Greetings From Jerrell VA. Shows a flower design. Postmarked from Jerrell, Virginia Oct. 10, 1907 (note: the last digit in the year is difficult to read, but looks like it is a 7). An internet search indicates that Jerrell was located in Caroline County, Virginia. The post office was open 1905 to 1916. The flower design is embossed. The words are raised / applied. A RARE postcard for the Virginia Town collector or the Discontinued Post Office postmark collector. About good condition, small cut in the top edge by the word Greetings and a bend to the right of that word, wear at 3 corners with some paper loss at the corners, few minor spots, impression marks at the corners from having been in an old time postcard album. Some condition issues, but the only Jerrell, Virginia postcard I've seen. SHIPPING $6.50 with Postal Tracking to addresses in the United States.
