Front of relic is a black and white reprinted photograph of a young Jesse James and the piece of wood; on the back is the Letter of Authenticity from Patee House Museum in St. Joseph, MO (National Historical Landmark and home of the Pony Express Headquarters in 1860) stating that Jesse James was killed in this house by fellow gang member Bob Ford on April 3, 1882. There is also a picture of Jesse James home as well as the signature of Todd Mueller, authenticator. This relic measures 8x10 and is in excellent condition.
