Regardless, he was arrested on September 20, 1970!! Crazy stuff. Morrison rejected a proposed plea bargain, and was ultimately sentenced to jail and to pay a fine after being found guilty of indecent exposure and open profanity. He appealed the sentence but died before it could be heard.
