The italic stub nib on the calligraphy pens (0.7, 1.1, 1.5, 1.9, 2.5 and 2.9 mm) create a wide down-stroke, and narrow side-stroke. The 0.5 mm nib is a medium for sketching lines and adding details, and the 0.38 mm extra fine nib is excellent for small, fine details.
