Description: Two fantastic late 1960s albums (with a great bonus track at the end) from Joe South- there's no way I'd sell this if I didn't have one for keeps. It's country, soul, a bit of psychedelia, so many great songs and splashes of inventive playing and production. I suppose I would put this in the same world as Tony Joe White or Bobby Gentry, or more recent artists like Jeb Loy Nichols. In my mind, these are his two best albums (nothing against the others, these are just all out amazing to my ears). Includes the original Rose Garden, the Walk A Mile In My Shoes that won Elvis over, and just so much more. About 77 minutes of blissful listening. Song list below.
