Description: We are offering a fabulous 23 Piece Chocolate Set from the Mid Century. This set was made by Johann Seltmann in their German Factory in Vohenstrauss. The set was made after 1949 based upon the makers mark. The set included 6 snack plates, 6 cups and 6 saucers, one pot with the lid, one creamer and one covered sugar bowl. The set features a gold pattern circling the rim of all of the pieces. There is very little if any wear to the gold. It is noteworthy that one side of the cups has gold embellishment on the handle and the other side does not. There are some areas where the gold design overlaps. I have taken an image of that as well as one of the very few black dots in the porcelain. All of the pieces are marked with the Seltmann mark under the glaze. there are no chips, cracks, or fleabites on any of these pieces. There are very few minor surface scratches on the plates and saucers. This is a gorgeous set!We offer FREE standard shipping to all states except Alaska and Hawaii.
