Description: Here is a nice copy of John Coltrane "Blue Train" LP, an early Mono microgroove repress from the early 60s (possibly 1964). It has the NEW YORK USA labels on both sides. West 61st St address on bottom rear jacket. The record itself is super clean and just has some light superficial marks, mostly on side B. The visible marks on side B did not affect play. I cleaned it by hand a few times and it sounds great when I play tested it. There was minimal background noise in between songs but nothing ever distracted once the music gets going. This is a really wonderful sounding copy of this classic Blue Note album. A deeper vpi or ultrasonic cleaning would surely improve the sound even further. The jacket has heavy shelf wear/age wear and has som splitting on top and bottom seams. I'm grading the jacket VG and the record VG+. Thanks for looking! Please check the pics for more details and thanks for looking!
