Description: John Norris Collected Essays 1730 Theology Philosophy Morals rare book (Old Books, 18th Century Books, Leather Books, Religion, Christianity, Essay Collection). Treatises Upon Several Curious Subjects; Formerly Printed Singly Now Collected in One Volume, by John Norris. Published 1730, London by Edmund Parker. 479 pages. Text in English. Publisher's catalog at rear. Includes Father's Advice to children. Period full leather binding stamped in blind in "Cambridge" style, front & rear covers detached, raised bands. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Book is not new or in "new" condition. Binding heavily age worn with detached covers, leather scuffed and edge chipped, spine dried and worn, remains overall attractive as an early 18th century object. Text block paper is gently toned, light to moderate scattered age spotting, internally still well preserved, tight, sound. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a pleasing and unique age patina and is in nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws easy to overlook or forgive. Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique book survives. Book Measures c. 7 1/2" H x 5" W. [B12790].
