Description: Offered is a very rare American Brilliant Period cut glass stem. It was cut by John O'Connor in his patented "Princess" pattern dating to 1895. John O'Connor was a designer and foreman at Dorflinger for many years before opening his own cutting house. Pieces from his cutting house are scarce, and this cranberry cut to clear is even more rare. The stem appears to be a wine goblet. It is in very good condition and only shows very minor traces of use. Going over this stem, I cannot see a chip on it. As with all ABP cut glass, please expect perhaps a minor flea bite. The rim is original and intact. Height: 4 5/8" Bowl opening: 2 5/8"
