Description: This, I believe is a mid 20th century engraving, that used the original plate ofa work by John Prideaux Selby 1788-1867. It is printed on a heavy paper with the plate marks measuring 21 3/4”x 15 3/4” and is all hand colored, with a, “Made inEngland” stamp on the back. The handcolored engraving is the “Common Shell-Drake”, plate XLVIII, with the full sheet measuring 28”x 21 3/4”. It’s is in such good shape,I will send it, well packed and flat.
