Description: Vintage box of Johnson's Borax-Iodide-Bran Foot Soap. Marked "SOAKS AWAY FOOT MISERY," "SOOTHES - Tired, Tender, Aching Feet," "Softens - Corns & callouses," "Relieves - Itching, Burning, Perspiring," and "ACTS LIKE MAGIC" Box is in pretty nice condition, especially considering it's age, but isn't perfect. There is a tear in the edge of the top flap. The paper soap packets inside the box however are in perfect like-new condition and the product inside the packets seems to be granular or powdery, as it should be - not caked or solidified. Near the bottom of the side panel of the box it is marked "COMBE Incorporated, Dist., White Plains, New York 10604" I don't see an actual date anywhere on the box or on the individual packets inside, so I am not sure of the age but I am guessing somewhere between mid 1960s and early to mid 1970s because the address of the manufacturer/distributer includes a zip code but there is no bar code on the package.
