It is an octavo measuring 5.5" x 8.25" containing 252 pp. plus several maps, facsimiles and illustrations, including a black & white frontispiece depicting "The Florida Indians Capture the Shipwrecked Company" on September 23rd, 1696. The journal is followed by an extensive illustrated bibliography of the first and later printings of the narrative.
