Description: I am selling a signed copy of The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen. The book is a first edition, first printing. The book and dust jacket are in excellent condition. My husband and I had the book signed in person by Jonathan Franzen at Barbara’s Bookstore in Chicago on September 25th, 2001. The Book was signed on the title page of the book and is not personalized. The book has been stored in a box in my home for the past 23 years. It is still in excellent condition showing no wear and tear. My husband and I have been collectors of many things over the past 33 years. We collected music and movie related items, first edition books, as well as folk art. Most of the things we collected were signed in person by the celebrity that produced the item. We have lived in the Printers Row / South Loop of Chicago since 1992. The neighborhood has featured an annual Bookfair for the past forty years, giving us access to many of the biggest and brightest authors of the past four decades. Unfortunately my husband recently passed away, so I will be selling a lot of the collectibles over the next six months. He was sick with pulmonary fibrosis for over two years which created tens of thousands in medical bills. I am selling these things to pay down the pile of medical bills that I am still responsible to pay. Please review and let me know if you have any questions. I have been buying and selling on eBay for thirty years. I know how to properly package items so that they arrive to the buyer in the same condition as when they were shipped.
