One is the collectible silver slipcase edition. Book 1 -- 1970 HC Silver Slipcase EditionISBN none, 29th PrintingPublisher - Macmillan Condition: Overall, in 'Very Good+' condition. Appears to be unread. Covers, and spine, look superb! No marks, scuffs or scrapes. Still firmly attached and there is no tearing/separation on the inside hinges. Corners are not bumped at all. Cover & spine silver lettering very bright Interior - is quite nice too. Appears to be unread/unhandled. No pen/pencil marks or highlighting, no tears/rips, no funny smell, no dog-eared corners, no loose pages.Slipcase is 'Very Good' at least. Still very solid & sturdy with only a hint of corner bumps. Typical of almost every copy of this slipcase edition are the scuff marks that the silver ink picks up and really shows off. Other than that, there is a scrape mark on the front upper, and a couple other very minor scrapes on the back. ************************* Book 2 -- 1972 6th Print, Great Britain SC ISBN 0330236474Publisher - Turnstone Press Condition: Between 'Good+' and 'Very Good' condition. An obviously read book but still in great shape - lots of life left. Covers are still firmly attached and there is no tearing/separation on the inside hinges. Outside, the covers have some minor scuffs & dings, especially along the edges. Corners are lightly bumped. Spine is very soft at the top & bottom. Cover & spine lettering are still bright, not rubbed or faded.Interior - shows the only real blemish being a couple tiny tears on the outer edge of the Part Three title pg and the next 75/76 & 77/78 pgs. The Dedication pg has an inked gift inscription. Otherwise, no other pen/pencil marks or highlighting, no tears/rips, no funny smell, no dog-eared corners, no loose pages.***********************Book 3 -- 1973 Great Britain SC Edition ISBN 0330236474Publisher - Pan Books Condition: Overall, in 'Very Good' solid condition.
