Description: This 1985 acrylic on canvas by Jorge Romero is in very good condition. Colors are strong, it's never been used and there are no age spots (See photos). It's untitled. There are two slight creases in the center from the top to the middle of the watermelon (See photos) that will be undetectable when stretched on canvas for framing. Romero signed his name on the front as well as on the back with the date (See photos). BIO: Jorge Romero was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in 1950. His initial works depicted the island's landscapes, social traditions and customs. In the late 1990's, his style changed to post-modernism etc. He studied art in New York and with painters Epifanio Irizarry and Miguel Pou in Puerto Rico.
