Description: This is a rare December 1968 playbill from the National Tour engagement of the DALE WASSERMAN, MITCH LEIGH and JOE DARION musical "MAN OF LA MANCHA" at the Shubert Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The production opened November 22nd, 1965 at the ANTA Washington Square Theatre in New York City and ran for 2728 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The musical starred JOSE FERRER (who had been a vacation replacement on Broadway for RICHARD KILEY from May 28th, 1966 to June 9th, 1966) as "Don Quixote", MAURA K.
