History: Josephine de Beauharnais was the first wife of Emperor Napoleon I and Empress of France (1804-1810). She was also Queen of Italy (1805-1810). Neurdein was a photography studio owned by Étienne (1832–1918) and Louis-Antonin Neurdein (1846–1914). They would later go on to found Neurdein Frères (aka Neurdein et Cie / ND. Phot.) which became the largest postcard publisher in France by the early 20th century. Condition: Some spotting, little soiling/foxing and surface wear. See pictures.
