Description: Original 19th Century Wood Sign Panel. This was probably on a spool cabinet, but we are not sure. The lettering is stenciled with gold paint that has mellowed over time. The back has a rabbet and the front edges show signs of having originally been either framed or had molding around the edge. There is some overall wear from age and use, especially at the corners.
