Both Sections are correct length, Butt=58'' Tip section=57 1/4''and look straight with no visible bends or sets. Action=40% bend med-slow action. I personally Prefer this ''fairy wand'' U.K. Old World action (Picture 24). This is the best description of the difference between U.K. and American Fly Rods. Quality, Brass Suction Ferrules, slide in tight, and Pop! out smooth with a lot of suction and no Ferrule clicks. Aluminum alloy collar, and screw lock engraved reel seat. 6 3/4'' Half Wells sectioned Cork handle with 4'' reel seat. Stainless alloy Snake guides=6 graduated on Tip section and 2 on Butt section. Plus 1 Stainless Steel Stripping, and 1 side wrapped Tip-Guide, equals 10 guides total. All Burgundy Silk, Guide and Ferrule Winding's are Firm and Tight. This rod also has line up dots on the ferrules. These dots are usually found on higher quality rods.
