Sheryl Mycroft designed the layout for this quilt using the border and corner papers from the Mariner’s Star. The African prints by “Hoffman Fabrics” used for the sample shown on the cover of this pattern, along with the sharp teeth-like appearance that, formed by the spiky border, provided the inspiration for the name of this pattern. This pattern is considered to be one of my easiest patterns.
