Description: General Mills Presents: Justice League - originally a 4-Issue mini-series featuring the Justice League Available October 1, 2011 in specially marked boxes of General Mills cereals, including Honey Nut Cheerios. They were distributed through Target stores. This mini-comic measured 5" by 7". The stories were "continued" on the website Big G Cereal Heroes( the stories were mostly complete in the comics; the additional content on the website was non-essential epilogues). NUMBER 1 - "Unstoppable Forces" The unstoppable monster known as the Shaggy Manis on the loose, and battling the Justice League across the Arizona desert. The fight has ended when the Green Lantern drops an entire mountain on the creature. While the immortal Shaggy Man is trapped beneath the mountain, a small town named Justus is built around its base. Two years after the first battle, the Shaggy Man finally breaks free of his rocky prison and goes on a rampage. The Justice League engages their old enemy but are unable to defeat his this time. Thankfully ,the Flash decides to visit the Shaggy Man's creator,Professor Zagarian for advice. The imprisoned Zagarian tells Flash that the Shaggy Man gains his power via photosynthesis, which is channeled through the beast's dense fur. Armed with this knowledge and some quick teamwork, the heroes give the Shaggy Man a shave. Stripped of both his hair and his power, the Shaggy Man is placed on the dark side of the Moon, where he will no longer be a threat. The Justice League then busy themselves repairing the town of Justus, which had been destroyed during their battle. NUMBER 2 - "Artificial Invasion" A mysterious robotic horde is menacing Metropolis and even the combined powers of the Justice League cannot halt their sheer numbers. How can Superman and Wonder Woman prevail when facing such an implacable foe? NUMBER 3 - "Sinister Imitation" Toyman creates robotic versions of the Justice League members and uses them to create division among the real team. The team confronts him and his robots, destroying the robots and detaining Toyman. NUMBER 4 - "Breakout" Penguin steals a map of Atlantis, so Batman heads there to enlist the aid of Aquaman and find out what Penguin is up to. Meanwhile, the Penguin starts his plan by enlisting the aid of Ocean Master to create a diversionary break-out from the undersea fortress penitentiary so he can steal a recently found ancient Atlantean treasure - the Penguin Legacy Statue! The break-out happens and is about to overwhelm Batman, Aquaman, and the Atlantean guard when the Justice League of America arrives to help. After cleaning-up the bad-guys, it is decided that the Penguin broke Atlantean laws in Atlantis, and should be locked-up in Atlantis.
