Weird/Unique/Unknownproof marks on rear and front sight: These two part belong together! Why? They carry similar weird/unknown (to me) German proof marks! Probably pre-WWII production and special unit marks? K98 front sigh is probably old type without hood and grooves and proof marks looks similar to the rear sight assembly proof marks, so I concluded that this has to go as a combo! Seems like they are from the same K98 rifle?! I have never seen these before on K98 rifles, so if you know what those proof marks mean please contact me on P.M. They also carry other letter/number markings that can be seen on the photos. Militaria collectors knows that there were a lot of captured original K98 rifles during WWII by Yugoslavian Partisans and which are rebranded to Yugo M48. These parts are 100% Genuine K98 captured by Yugoslavian Partisans at some time during WWII! I don't have to tell you how rare is this item. It is worth having such an item for any Militaria fan in the world! Considering 20% of ebay fees and free shipping which is really not that cheap, and it is done by me with Croatian Priority Post with tracking number (usually less than 15 working days which depends on your location) you can estimate my earnings on this item which of course is very low considering that I got to find such item on my domestic market, pay it and send it to your address...
