Kais American Artists Collection Doll "CHRISTA" by Janis Berard LE 0476/2000

Description: "CHRISTA" By Janis Bernard This hard to find Janis Bernard doll is in excellent condition. She is part of a Limited Edition #476/2000. Christa was created and sculpted by world famous artist Janis Bernard using the finest materials available. She has an adorable face, large glass blue eyes with real eyelashes, and as you can see in the close up - they are very long. The pale blonde mohair wig looks great and carefully styled by hand into a sausage curls and then partially in a gorgeous updo. She is porcelain arms to below elbow, legs below knee, shoulder plate, and articulated head. Christa has a breathable mouth showing a few teeth (open mouth). Christa's peacock blue dress is accented with ivory lace and trimmed with pearl strands. Her bonnet is made of fabrics similar to the dress. She comes with her handtag, and porcelain Kais tag. She wears pretty pearl dangling earrings, ivory bloomers, ivory lace stockings, and ecru leather tie shoes with rosettes. See pictures for more details of the dress etc. She is 18" tall. Please examine the photos carefully as they are part of the description! Use the zoom feature, get a really good look! (I never use stock photos. What you see really is what you get!) I do NOT undress the dolls, so I do NOT know the condition of the body underneath the clothing. I do not undress them because it potentially messes up their hair and could cause damage the clothing or body. This doll was part of an adult well-maintained doll collection.
