In reality, it is not ribbed but mouth blown, masterfully controlled vertical bubbles. It's a beautiful piece and quite heavy for it's size. There is a tiny imperfection on the top rim. It is shown in the pictures. There are tiny bubbles resulting from the creation process. In some of the pictures, the glass appears smoked. It's not, it's just the pic. The color is clear with an effect called "Mist" It is just that, a slight kind of clear etched glass effect. It is very mild and most noticeable at the mouth/top. Impossible to really show in photos.
