All songs on SA-CD for the first time in the world! Böhm has compiled 6 Mozart's late symphonies recorded with the Vienna Philharmonic in his final years and 2 orchestral pieces into 3 pieces. In his later years, Böhm made many recordings mainly on the Vienna Philharmonic and the DG label, all of which have been loved by many fans, especially in Japan, as a gracious masterpiece. In addition to the style up to the 60's, Böhm's music, which is more gentle and has depth inside, is recorded as it is by DG in the golden age of analog. This Mozart symphony starts from Nos. 40 and 41 recorded in April 1976, Nos. 38 and 39 in March 1979, and Nos. 29 and 35 recorded in June 1980 at the end of DG recording. At that time, he was 85 years old (in November of this year, he digitally recorded the last recording with DG, "Ninth". Already released at PROC1992). At the time of recording in June 1980, digital recording was already mainstream for DG, but this recording was recorded with conventional analog recording. Therefore, in this collection, all original home country analog master tapes were directly digitized at 192 kHz / 24 bit for this reprint, and the master was produced. On the SA-CD layer, you can listen to the timbre of the Vienna Philharmonic at that time, which echoes in the reverberant Musikvereinsaal. Boehm's attention to detail, sound control, and rich musicality are unique to this period, and the amount of information and the flexibility of horns and stringed instruments in particular will captivate your ears. In producing this series, after performing maintenance and restoration of the original analog master tapes in the home country from scratch, high-quality digitalization (DSD) was performed, and the full-time label engineer in the home country performed a meticulous process for this series.
