The LPM1 Fender Elimination License Plate Mount for Kawasaki Mean Streak 1500 & 1600 replaces your stock lower fender with a slick, low profile plate mount. It is made of sturdy, aluminum plate and comes to you raw, right out of the machine. You can paint it, powder coat it, or polish it but you don't NEED to do anything to it because it is hidden under your fender, and because it's aluminum, it will never rust! THIS LISTING DOES NOT INCLUDE turn signals. See our other listing for ones that do include them. Holes are for a standard 3/8" mount turn signal. If you just want a plate mount and you don't want to relocate your turn signals, just cut the tabs off. Licence plate and chrome frame are NOT included. Installation is as simple as unbolting your plastic lower fender from your upper fender, bolting on the LPM1 to EXISTING holes, with the existing bolts and wiring the lights. NO DRILLING required. Slotted holes allow you to choose how low it hangs and how close the plate is to the fender. Q. Does it come with a light for the license plate? A. No, you can do this in many ways. I.E., LED plate mount bolts, or wire any light under the fender to shine on the plate. There is plenty of room. Q. Does it come with the plate frame shown in the picture? A. NO Q.
