Description: These are new motorcycle rear shock absorbers. The free length from eye to eye is 12.25" which is .25" shorter than the original 12.5" shocks. The .25" shorter length is insignificant and has no impact on ride and handling. They have black bodies with dual black springs. The lower spring is wound tighter than the upper spring which provides a progressive resistance. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions. The spring adjuster tool is also provided. The required grommets and metal bushings are preinstalled for ease of installation. These shocks are ready to install as they are and require no further modification. PRICE INCLUDES BOTH SHOCKS. THESE SHOCKS WILL ONLY FIT ALL VN1500 VULCAN CLASSIC MODELS FROM 1996 TO 2008. NOTE! THESE ARE NOT AIR SHOCKS. 2006 TO 2008 MODELS HAD AIR SHOCKS BUT THESE MAKE EXCELLENT REPLACEMENTS.
