The pen is a collaboration between Moleskine, a world-renowned notebook and planner company and Kaweco, a German pen company that has been making fine writing instruments since 1908. The hexagonal body of the pen measures approximately 3/8 inches long with the Snap-on cap in place. The cap can be posted on the barrel end to extend the length of the pen. A gold colored Kaweco logo medallion can be found on the cap top. This pen can be used with a Parker type ballpoint refill or with an international rollerball refill. It comes with a Kaweco Soul medium point ballpoint refill (Parker ballpoint refill type) in blue paste ink. If an international rollerball refill is used instead of the Kaweco Soul ballpoint refill, be sure to retain the spacers that come with the pen so that if you decide to use a Kaweco Soul refill or other Parker type ballpoint refill again it will continue to work as a ballpoint pen. The cap has the words in gold “Moleskine x Kaweco” on one side and “Kaweco” on the other side without any color fill. It is sold with its original packaging.
