Description: Beautiful and rare limited production 1993 Ken Smith BMT5FM 5 string bass. Flame maple top. This bass sounds and plays incredible! It has a fast playing neck that is a joy to play. Might be the best playing neck I’ve ever experienced on a Smith bass and that says a lot. The limited production BMT has a 7 piece neck and a 7 piece body! Very nice! This bass has a brand new KS input jack, brand new KS knobs, brand new KS tuners, and a new (and current) KS preamp (the old one will be included). Not sure if the bridge is new but looks almost new as well. The result is a bass that looks almost new! Frets look very good also. For some reason a previous owner installed aftermarket switches, but have since been removed and repaired with wood obtained from Ken Smith (see pics), and would otherwise be in excellent+ condition.. A like new Tourtek hardshell case is included.
