Description: Kent, Penhurst, Henry Constable, halfpenny token "1667", later cast in silver, probably 20th century. 3.63 g. All silver 17th century tokens are much later, being produced for collectors. This piece is no exception, and curiously, despite being a good quality cast, has the original casting sprue, much as it would have come out of the mould. VF, a few surface marks, otherwise much as made with original casting sprue, toned. Rare. BW 444 for prototype. ex-Tony Allnutt collection. MA-Shops: Restrike
