Description: For your consideration is a French casserole. This French casserole is gloss black with white and red lid; the red is a lobster. Most of the lobster is embossed, but part of the body is 3-D.It was manufactured by Kenwood Ceramics; which was a division of Shawnee Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio.I filled it with tap water and it held two quarts + a slight amount. Not counting the lid the height is approximately 3 3/4" and the diameter is approximately 8 1/4". This French casserole is an old item (1954-1956) that was used. It has 0 cracks, however on one of the rings on the bottom, is a chip. If it was washed with soap and water, it would be ready to display or use.
