Description: This is a signed letter from the Kilbourne & Jacobs Manufacturing Company, which sold scrapers for railroads and highways, steel tubular wheelbarrows, warehouse trucks, road graders, and contractors plows, among other items. The business had offices and/or factories in New York and in Columbus, Ohio. The letter was written and signed by a man named David Greene, who was the treasurer and secretary of the company. The letter is dated October 24, 1922. It is typed on a sheet of Kilbourne & Jacobs Manufacturing stationery . The letter is addressed to "G. S. Black", who was an engineer for the Maine Central Railway. I suspect that there is a minor error in this man's name, specifically with his middle initial, and that his name was actually George F.
