Description: KILMAINHAM JAIL Its Heroes and Songs Dolphin Records label Vinyl LP 1980. Vinyl is shiny and clean - near mint. Glue has dried out in cover seams - common in records of this vintage - otherwise the sleeve is excellent. See photos for details. Writing on back cover indicates that this record was presented to James Connolly's daughter, Nora Connolly O'Brien, by the Chairman of Kilmainham Jail on the 11th of December 1980, in the execution yard of the prison, where her father was executed in 1916. What a moving occasion that must have been. An historic item.
