Description: Kim Hargreaves Temptress Sweater Kit Kim Hargreaves was Rowan's in-house designer for years. "Temptress” is a classic reflection of Kim's design sensibility, creating a very feminine, graceful sweater. The loose fitting tunic is knit using fair isle technique and is suitable for experienced knitters. The pattern comes from Rowan Magazine 26 published in the fall of 1999. The sweater can be made in any of three sizes -- Small with a finished chest/bust measurement of 44 inches, Medium with a finished chest/bust measurement of 48 inches, or Large with a finished chest/bust measurement of 52 inches. The design was knit in aran weight wool - Rowan magpie, and chunky chenille. There were several variations suggested in the original magazine. I was asked by a knitter to create this version to minimize the chenille. Sadly she was unable to start the sweater due to health reasons. The kit is a berry version and uses three shades of Creative Yarns International Biospun 12 ply Perendale wool, Rowan Magpie , Rowan chunky Chenille in French Mustard, and Rowan Lurex in gold.
