Description: Up for sale is this King & Country World of Dickens Dr. John Watson WoD031 1/30 Scale READ. Watson is Holmes' best friend, assistant and occasional flatmate at 221b Baker Street. He is typically described as a Victorian-era gentleman who served as a surgeon in the British Army and saw active service on the North West Frontier during the Second Afghan War and was wounded at the Battle of Maiwand in 1880. Again our interpretation is a combination of some of the well-known actors who have portrayed him...Nigel Bruce, Edward Hardwicke and...Jude Law. This figure has some spots of paint chipping/loss, areas include the front of his jacket just above his knee, on the tip of his right index finger and on the point of contact between his shoulder and the cane. It appears that the cane was attached to the shoulder with an adhesive but the paint chipped, leaving the chips on the shoulder with the cane floating just above. examples shown in photos. This figure is in good overall condition, stored with care in the original, foam-lined packaging. Please see photos for exact condition and measurements of the item.
