Instructions You must remove the old label to install a new one. The easiest way to do that is with heat.(on slick surface labels with no damage I have installed a new label over the old one) The Fastest heat source for this job is a propane torch. Apply the heat to the back of the handle fork to release the adhesive holding on the old label. If you do not have a propane torch, or choose not to use one a hair dryer works well for your heat source. Put on a pair of gloves to do this job. Clamp the bottom of the handle fork in a vice. You may want to use a rag between the vice and the handle to avoid scratches. If you are using a torch use a wet rag, and have some water near by. Starting at the top heat the handle fork until you can pull the old label off. You will only be able to pull a couple of inches at a time, and then heat down lower on the fork until the old label is removed. Clean the left over adhesive with a solvent like lacquer thiner or acetone. Do this in a well ventilated area with no open flames near by. The new label has a peal off backing divided in the middle. I start by pealing off the bottom half of the backing. I like starting at the bottom, as the wider base give me a better chance of lining up the label. Press the label down as you move up, making sure to press out any air pockets. When you get to the middle of the label peal off the top half of the backing and finish pressing the new label onto the handle fork. This is not a hard job, and you can usually start over if you find you are not aligned with the handle. It is better to just get it right the first time. Shipping is calculated.
