Description: This item was made by and is marked Kirk Pewter (a company that only existed until the 1970s when it was bought by Steiff). After the purchase, the product would have been marked Kirk Steiff which was part of the purchase agreement between the two companies. The candlestick is in beautiful condition, has been used, and has some scratches on the surface of the bottom. There are no dents or deep scratches to the item. The stick would have been used in a bed chamber so that it could be aptly called a chamberstick. It is 4" tall and 5 1/2 " in diameter, and has four small holes inside the candle holder portion to allow for air to be drawn into the candlestick when it burned.
