The hanging loop is made from bias tape. The potholders measure approximately 7 inches square. These fabric jar openers are just the right thing for that little more oomph needed to open that jar. One can be used to hold the jar in place while you use the other one to open the lid. Both are made with a floral themed cotton fabric on the front. The back is a rubber gripping material that allows you to grip the lid and assist in opening it. Through the rubber gripper you can see the coordinating cotton fabric sewn between the gripper and the front fabric. These measure approximately 5 inches square. They are machine washable but ironing is not recommended as it may melt the rubber. An "X" has been sewn in the middle for stabilization. These pot/skillet handle holders are made with a floral themed cotton print on the outside and a coordinating cotton as the lining. A layer of insul brite was used between the layers.
