KOBE BRYANT “TOUCH THE SKY” TAKASHI MURAKAMI INSPIRED BEAR BY IDIOT BOX ART NIB!

Description: Kobe “Touch the Sky” Takashi Murakami inspired Bear by Idiot Box Art. This extremely rare, limited, hand painted, and no longer available art piece was inspired by artist Takashi Murakami (who gained wide stream popularity by doing the artwork for Kanye Wests Graduation album art). The Kobe Bear is soaring high, wearing a number 8 Los Angeles Lakers jersey, with a MAMBA on the right sleeve, NIKE sneakers on his feet, and a basketball clutched in the grip of his left hand. It was made available for purchase for a short period of only 2 days directly though Idiot Box Arts online website. Each Kobe Bear was painted on a solid, perfectly cut piece of MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) wood in the order they were received, individually numbered, and then hand signed by the artists (Idiot Box Art owners Emily Bright and Tamara Martin) on the backside of the art piece. Although each art piece shares the same design, because they were individually hand painted . . . no two pieces are exactly alike, making each art piece a 1 of 1 collectible. Once the painting process was completed, the front side of the art piece was coated in a clear lacquer acrylic, adding a protective coating which brings out the details even further, while making it easy to clean with a microfiber cloth. A metal hook was also installed by the artists so this item is ready to be mounted and displayed in your office, gym, or at home. Justin Bieber even purchased some of the freshly designed Kobe-inspired artwork for his personal collection. 24% of proceeds from the "Touch The Sky" Mini Edition sales were donated directly to the families effected via the MambaOnThree.org The MambaOnThree Fund was created to honor Team Mamba's mantra, "Mamba on Three." It's with that customary chant for togetherness, sisterhood and the ability to take on every challenge that this Fund was named. The MambaOnThree Fund exists to honor and support loved ones of the seven other victims involved in the tragedy that occurred on January 26, 2020. All final collected donations to the Fund were distributed and directed to the affected families. This item was purchased brand new by myself (original owner) and it has never been hung, mounted, or put on display.
