Description: KPM Berlin Rocaille Cherub Cornucopia Red Cabbage Roses Handled Tureen. Genuine Sceptre Mark Hand Painted Germany. I believe c.1945-1962. 12 1/4" handle to handle. 10" diameter at rim. 10 3/4" high. Exuberantly painted and fully decorated example of large Roses. I believe this is the most beautiful tureen we have ever seen. This Tureen design with various decoration dates back to the 18th Century the last picture an example made for Frederick the Great in 1775.
