It can be configured as a standby switcher so that the primary input automatically reverts to a designated secondary input upon signal interruption or loss. This unit is well suited for use in home theaters, presentation & multimedia applications, rental & staging work, or any other similar use.It offers bandwidth capacity of up to 1.65Gbps, is HDTV compatible, and is HDCP compliant. Standby switching functionality can be configured using dip switches. It also includes Kramer's re-Klocking & Equalization technology, a proprietary feature that rebuilds the digital signal to allow for longer cable runs.Control options include the front-panel interface, RS-232, Ethernet, and contact closure.
