Description: Don't we love nostalgic advertising items? Kroger Grocery Stores have been open for business (and delivery) for almost 140 years. This great grocery wagon drawn by horses is a replica of the service Kroger used when horses were king. This particular model was made in the USA in Montgomery, Ill. Model No. 7600. This one has some scuff marks on the wagon and the paper sticker shows some wear. The horses look like new, never rode by any plastic people toys I guess! The advertising paper sign is on both sides of the wagon and reads "The Kroger Grocery & Baking Co." The Kroger Company began way back in 1883 when Barney Kroger invested $372 to open a single store in Cincinnati, OH. They are still the nation's largest grocer with 2,800 stores in 35 states.
