It is a useful knife for camping and outdoor fields. Kurotori, which produces this knife, traces its roots back to a family of blacksmiths with a history of about 400 years. It is one of the traditional workshops in Tosa, which is a famous blade production area along with Seki City in Japan. The blade is engraved with 土佐 (Tosa) 黒鳥 (Kurotori) 特製 (Special made) in Japanese.
