Description: For sale is a small round trinket dish from Acoma, New Mexico and signed L. Vallo. The small bisque dish is decorated in black and brown with a flute player on the lid and floral motifs around the dish. Together the dish and lid has a flatten ball-like shape. Acoma is known for it's rich culture, pottery and recognized as the oldest continually-inhabited city in North America This piece is in good condition with a tiny fleabite on the dish rim (photograph 13) and some gentle wear including visible shelf wear on bottom. The dish is signed L. Vallo and marked Acoma, New Mexico. The lid is unmarked.
