They have a vertical double button/zipper closure along with 5 belt loops around the waistband. The front pockets are sewn on, rounded corners and rounded entry with with rivets at the stress points of the two main pockets. There is no small, change pocket. The back pockets are also sewn on with rounded corners and two single rows of stitching down the center of each one. On the left outside leg is an additional pocket, sewn on, rounded corners and an open top, no flaps to keep items inside. Something a little different, but nice looking all the same.
