Description: An amazing piece of women's health history. Written by Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, the famed health guru who founded the Battle Creek Sanitarium and invented Kellogg's cornflakes. His views on diet and health were unusual for the times. The1994 film the Road to Wellness was about Dr. Kellogg and his unconventional ideas about medicine and lifestyles. He was played by Anthony Hopkins. The book looks to have been read but very well cared for. There is some wear on the back cover (see photos). The illustrations are in excellent condition. Tucked into a sleeve at the back of the book is a small booklet of additional colored plates that is also in near perfect condition.
