Description: This is The Sears Lady Kenmore model 89 sewing machine. The Kenmore model # 516.891 was made in West Germany by Gritzner for Sears. Gritzner at this time was short for Gritzner-Kayser and I believe that Pfaff bought in just prior to this machines manufacture date. Other Gritzner made sewing machines that are the same as or very similar to the Lady Kenmore 89 are Pfaff 280 and Gritzner GU-L. I believe this machine is marked indicating it was made January, 1960.This is a head only sale meaning there is no stand, desk or case included. The Foot Control to run the machine is included. There are several feet included and pictured and bobbins included with this machine. The feet are marked GK indicating these are original Gritzner-Kayser feet and I believe most of the included accessories where made for the Kenmore by Griest. The manual too is included.
