Description: Lafayette LR-5555A Vintage ( 1977 78 ) Receiver / Manual I purchased this great receiver back when I worked for Lafayette Radio in 1977 -1978.I used it for a few years untill I got a job at pacific stereo,and replaced it with all sony gear .It has moved with me to 8 different homes,and it is now time to find a new owner.I have about 10 other pieces of gear that I will be listing asap.It needs the typical service that comes from sitting all these years.Needs a good cleaning.The controls and switches need to be sprayed with cleaner,and the 3 lights inside are out.The side screws and plastic inserts are missing..maybe I can find something that will work.Maybe a local near San Diego wants to buy all I have ?It seems to work fine other than that ,and sounds pretty good with the small speakers I had.Used HI-FI is hot right now,as I see thousands of guys online looking for it every day.Please email with any questions.Larry k6ro
