Description: Here is a beautiful large 28" Antique bisque shoulder head doll. She is marked with a 16 and a 166 mold number under that. I don't know if there is more writing under the leather on the back of the shoulder plate. I did not want to damage the leather. In The Dictionary Of Doll Marks Book, There were several German Companies that used the mold number 166. I THINK that is was made By Kley & Hahn, But not 100% sure. She has a bisque shoulder head, with a kid leather jointed body, and her arms are jointed composition. There is no damage to her bisque. She looks pretty good for her age, from the early 1900's. She is beautifully painted with blue glass eyes and teeth showing in her mouth. She is wearing a newer blonde ringlett curl wig with a bow. She is dressed in a long ivory hand made dress, with slip, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. She comes display ready with a doll stand. PLEASE see all photos and email any questions. Thanks!
